Union Sangyo Co., Ltd. was established in 1963 in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, and began manufacturing filters in 1968. With our origins in the pressing industry, we have a particular expertise in deep drawing and sheet metal processing. Initially, we focused on exporting our products overseas, but later expanded our sales domestically through our distributors.
In 1985, the significant currency fluctuations following the Plaza Accord prompted us to consider expanding abroad. In 1990, we established our Malaysia factory and began shifting our production base from Japan to Malaysia.
Union Sangyo Malaysia has established itself as a leading automotive filter manufacturer in the ASEAN region, drawing from over 60 years of expertise from our headquarters in Japan.
